In accordance with government fire codes, fireguards and fire safety directors are required for large buildings and construction sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations. As per New York City law, fireguards must be present in large commercial or residential buildings where the fire alarm, sprinkler, or standpipe systems are out of service. Fireguards are also essential at construction sites lacking fire suppression systems or where open flames are in use.

At American Protective Services, we provide certified, highly trained fireguards who are responsible for monitoring fire-related systems, documenting fire safety reports, and coordinating orderly fire evacuations. All our fireguards are certified in accordance with applicable laws to ensure safety and compliance.
